I don't have a whole lot of time to go into it point-by-point, but I will say this, borrowing from the right-wing gun nuts of my childhood:

Hey, I resent that remark! I used to be one of those right-wing gun nuts... though now I'm more of a centrist gun nut.
As far as what you say - darn straight. It's like saying the car was at fault when a drunk driver hits and kills someone. C'mon people, use your grey matter!

maybe that's the thing, Ren. maybe the fact that there's so much wrapped up in her own self-concept of "Nine Deuce - Smartest Person Ever", that she can't allow as she might have something to learn from mere mortals.
which, you know, I can't criticize, owing to the fact that I'm an insufferable (and not even credentialed) smartypants myself.
